Privacy Policy

What you give us

Only what you type into a form or tell us yourself. Nothing you type into a form leaves your browser until you send it.

• Get your price: your RV's type and length, the package and extras you pick and the estimate the page shows, your name, mobile number, email and service address, and whether you'd like reminder texts. If you add them, also the campground or storage facility, the camper's make, model and year, a preferred day and time window, and notes such as a gate code or site number.
• Contact form: your name, mobile number and email, what it's about, where the unit is, and your message.
• Fleets & facilities form: your name and role, the business or property name, the kind of operation, roughly how many units, your phone and email, and any notes.
• Calls, texts and emails: your number or address, and whatever you tell us.

We never ask for your Social Security number, driver's license or bank details, and the site never takes a payment.

What we record on the job

The date, the address, what we did, the price, the invoice and how it was paid. If you pay by card or with a payment app, we keep a record that you paid, never the card number; the card processor or the app handles that.

Photos

We photograph every unit before and after the work (roof, seams, decals and finish) and anything we notice that needs attention. You get the photos by email. We keep them with the job, which protects us both if a question about damage ever comes up.

We may also show photos of your unit in our gallery and on our social media. They show the unit only: no people, license plates, house or site numbers, and we strip the location data from every photo we post. If you'd rather we didn't use yours, tell us, before or after the job, and we won't. If one is already up, we'll take it down.

We won't post a photo of you or anyone else, or use your name in a review or testimonial, without written permission.

What the website collects on its own

• The site's own code sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There are no ads, ad trackers or social media pixels.
• Our host, Hostinger, and Cloudflare, which sits in front of it, receive what every website receives (your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for) to deliver the site and keep out attacks. If Cloudflare has to check that a visitor isn't a bot, it may set a security cookie.
• We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and doesn't follow you from site to site, and it shows us totals, such as page views and referring sites, not who you are.
• We don't track visitors across sites, so every visit already gets what a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal asks for.
• Our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok links are plain links. Once you follow one, that site's own privacy policy applies.

How we use it

• To answer you, price the job, schedule it, do the work, invoice it, and keep the records tax law requires.
• Email is how we reach you. Your price, confirmation, invoice and photos go to the address you give us. A photo set too big to attach comes as a Google Drive link.
• Your phone number is for calls about the job, day-of contact, and reminder texts if you ask for them.
• The service address tells us where to go, and it sets the sales tax rate, which depends on where the work is done. That's why it's required.
• Gate codes and access notes are used only to reach your unit.

Text messages

Texts are optional. If you tick the box on the request form, we'll text you reminders and updates about your appointment: usually a reminder the day before or the day of, and a heads-up if the schedule changes. We don't send ads by text. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to stop the texts and HELP for help, or call (608) 404-7700. You can also tell us by email or phone, and we'll stop. Consent isn't required to book: leave the box unchecked and we'll remind you by email or a call instead.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with or sold to any third party, affiliate or lead generator.

Who else handles it

We use a few companies to run the business. Each handles your information to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms:

• Hostinger hosts this website, and Cloudflare delivers it to your browser and keeps out attacks.
• Web3Forms delivers what you send through our forms to our inbox. It may check your email and IP address against spam filters (CleanTalk and Akismet), and it keeps a copy until we clear it, three years at most.
• Google runs our business email, calendar and file storage. We also use Google's maps for directions to your address, our mileage records and the forecast for the job.
• Quo runs our phone line: calls, voicemail and texts with (608) 404-7700, reminder texts included.
• Our card processor handles your card if you pay by card.

We don't sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing. We'll disclose it only if the law requires it. If the business is ever sold, its records go to the new owner, who must honor this policy.

How long we keep it

• Job records (quotes, invoices, payment records and photos): seven years after the job. Wisconsin requires four years of sales tax records, and federal tax rules can reach back further.
• Requests that don't turn into a job: up to two years, in case you come back next season.

After that we delete them, wherever we keep them. Photos already in our gallery or on social media stay up unless you ask us to take them down.

Keeping it safe

We keep your information in password-protected business accounts and on a computer we control. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information, we'll tell you.

Your choices

• Email nick@wisconsinrvdetailing.com or call (608) 404-7700 to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We'll answer within 30 days. Job records we keep for tax purposes stay until their seven years are up, and we'll tell you if that applies.
• Stop reminder texts at any time, as described above.
• Ask us not to post photos of your unit, or to take one down.
• If we ever email you about anything other than your request or your job, tell us to stop and we will.

Children

The site and our services are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us something, tell us and we'll delete it.

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version goes here with a new date at the top. If a change would let us use information you've already given us in a new way, we'll ask you first.
